This keychain makes a great gift for someone from Kentucky! It would also be great to commemorate an engagement, a wedding, a graduation, or even as a housewarming gift for a new homeowner! The keychain is cut in the shape of Kentucky out of sustainable urban cherry wood.

The wood part of the keychain measures approximately 2.4" x 1.1". The cherry wood is sourced from street trees in the western Michigan area that have been removed due to construction or storm damage -- not their timber value. After I pick out the wood at the sawmill, I personally process it through a long series of planing and sawing steps, and I finally laser cut it and apply a hand-rubbed oil finish.

Because wood is a natural material, there is some variation in the wood grain and color therefore no two keychains will ever be exactly alike.
