This is a solid wood necklace made from sustainable wood. The wood is sourced from urban trees cut due to circumstance, whether disease, construction, or nuisance -- not from trees cut for their timber value. It is currently available in black cherry wood from yard trees in St. Louis, Missouri. The wood is protected with food safe cutting board oil. Additional mineral oil can be applied at any time if the wood starts looking dry.

When placing your order, just make a note to me listing the Roman numerals you would prefer. If you prefer, I can convert the date into Roman numerals for you and I will use the formatting shown in the pictures.

I can also do a double sided necklace with for example a quote or name or coordinates on the other side. See the last two pictures for examples.

The wood piece measures 2" x 3/8". The chain is available in a variety of lengths.
